Parts Work Together
IFS Reflection Companion
As an IFS practitioner, I’m interested in how gentle inner reflection can help us understand the different “parts” of ourselves with more curiosity and less self-judgement.
I’ve built this simple free ChatGPT companion as a space for exploring inner tensions, emotions, reactions, and conflicting sides of yourself in plain language.
You might use it when you notice something like:
-
“Part of me wants this, but another part is scared.”
-
“I had a strong reaction and I’m not sure what it’s about.”
-
“I keep doing something I don’t fully understand.”
-
“I want to slow down and listen inside.”
The companion is informed by Internal Family Systems ideas, especially the possibility that our difficult feelings often make more sense when we meet them with patience rather than trying to fix or get rid of them.
It isn’t therapy, diagnosis, crisis support, or a replacement for working with a qualified practitioner. It won’t tell you what is “really” going on inside you. But it can help you pause, reflect, and explore what may be happening with more care.
It is a place for simple reflection. It is not a substitute for working with an experienced IFS practitioner. If you would like to meet me, Richard Hughes, and see if there is a good fit then I offer free Discovery sessions.
This is a simple reflection tool, not a replacement for working with a skilled practitioner. I’m Richard Hughes, an IFS-informed practitioner interested in making reflective inner work more accessible and approachable. If you’d like to explore working with me directly, you can get in touch below.
You’ll need at least a free version of ChatGPT to use it.
